BUSINESS ANALYST WITH AGILE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCENORWALK, CT Project Description:
Assists the business implement solutions by detailing business requirements as well as documenting functional and operational specification.
Acting as the key interface between the users and the project manager they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users.
Main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Translates business strategies and objectives into business requirements.
Develops functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools.
Assists staff to test and analyze final requirements.
Ensures requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation.
Manage data and reporting requests.
Develops and delivers training and supplemental materials.
Writes the business specifications detailing operations of an application or specific function.
Define and implement best practices with internal and external vendors, including continuous review.
Assist with data analysis to drive process improvements.
Supports several teams and clients in the evaluation, interpretation and development of business trends, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and market indicators.
Support the development and delivery of operations, financial and client reportso Support ad hoc and production reporting needs.
Serve as liaison between the business and technology to articulate business requirements and needs surrounding reporting of data, reports and KPI.
Work to standardize data definitions.
Maintain the report inventory.
Assist in performing ongoing data analysis to evaluate program performance.
Perform analyses of linked data from different sources.
Keep abreast of industry standards around work comp, leave and disability metrics and reporting.
Coach and advise two project teams that are creating dynamic Dashboard solutions with multiple stakeholders, bringing multiple data sets together to enable better decision-making and action.
One team will have internal data sets (Enterprise Transportation - mainly SAP) and the other team (eCommerce) will have mainly external data sets hence greater complexity regarding data ingestion and harmonization.
The candidate would be responsible, in providing principles and techniques to best execute the project using agile development, design thinking, decision modeling and process improvement techniques and best practices.
The candidate would also be responsible incorporating the above principles and techniques into a Project Playbook for Business Analytics and assisting with developing and implementing a Train-the-Trainer program with our Team of 8 people.
Required Skills:
Agile development experienceDesign Thinking experience both incorporating into agile projects and training.
Decision Modeling experience both in training and building into the up-front project exploration and business requirements phases to ensure solutions are designed to drive better decisions and actions.
Process Improvement experience to help us integrate agile, design thinking and decision modeling concepts into our E2E Solutions Development Playbook i.

, how to engage the business, identify and build personas, breakdown business processes in order to better build business requirements and project plans that help drive better decision-making and actions.
Experience in Visualization projects (all of our projects involve visualization), how do we keep up with best practices and incorporate into our Playbook.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
