The Digital Media division of this large event-based company is experiencing significant growth and is looking for smart and motivated sales professional to join our Online Media sales team. We are looking for an ambitious individual with the ability to identify and close business. The ideal person is a self starter, a team player and is hungry to prove their potential. We want proactive individuals who aren''t afraid to dive in head first and acquire new business. This individual must be able to lead by example and take ownership of their role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for negotiating and selling online advertising and transactional based marketing placements.
Develop new business and long term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
Oversee, maintain and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
Coordinate, manage and resolve account maintenance issues.
Must be able to effectively interface with VP of Sales, and other C-level executives.
Complete RFP''s and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business.
Must be passionate about the online space and have a detailed working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.
Develop and cultivate long lasting client relationships with all levels including Owners, CEO, CMO, Brand Managers, Agencies and Media buyers.
Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in accounts and their agencies, and have strong presentation skills to close the sale.
Navigate internally with various business units to create compelling Media solutions.
Help foster innovation and thought leadership while driving new media revenues.
Review and provide feedback on processes, products that will improve operational efficiencies.
## Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience selling to National tier accounts/agencies.
Experience in B2B media sales, ad sales, conference sales, consultative selling, publishing, webinar sales, interactive media sales and or event sales is preferred.
Ability to craft advertising campaigns that meet clients'' needs and deliver ROI
Experience in the corporate events industry is a plus
In-depth knowledge of CPM impression based advertising and reporting
Experience in selling SEM services in an agency environment is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to build business in a wide-open market.
Media sales experience with a mix of online and offline.
Demonstrated sales results
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Spanish required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
