Role Summary/Purpose

This role will be an integral member of the GE Capital HQ Global Risk Analytics and Reporting team focused on GECC portfolio-wide reporting and analysis. Responsible for directing the collection and analysis of Risk portfolio data from a consolidated GE Capital portfolio perspective to create communications and reports for senior management and other stakeholders. Manage and mentor team of Portfolio Risk Associates.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop strategic relationships with GE Capital business reporting leads to facilitate the understanding of portfolios, drivers and trends to enable action for risk mitigation.
Develop a thorough understanding of the GE Capital portfolio, credit products and risk reporting processes, credit quality from a GE Capital consolidated perspective.
Respond promptly and compose responses regarding portfolio risk inquiries from the FRB, GE Capital HQ senior leadership, etc. and ensure reporting processes are repeatable, reliable and auditable.
Provide strategic leadership in the development of materials for senior management, regulatory and other communication.
Present key GE Capital portfolio metrics and analyses during monthly GE Capital consolidated portfolio review to GE Capital Senior Leadership
Manage, mentor, and coach portfolio reporting and analysis associates to deliver timely and accurate content for GE Capital portfolio reporting.
Other GE Capital reporting and analytical key activities, strategic initiatives and projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Science or Engineering and minimum of 7 years' experience in Underwriting, FP&A, controllership or risk analysis and or reporting
Strong analysis background; ability to synthesize large amounts of data, identify the significant trends, and articulate drivers of trends and risks
Strong communications skills with the ability to prepare clear and confidently present meaningful analysis to senior and executive management level
Minimum of seven (7) years Underwriting Experience.
Ability to interface and influence global teams
Experience in working with complex data systems or database like Teradata
Project management skills
Expert MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with cross functional projects in risk, finance and IT
Experience with business intelligence & data mining tools (Business Objects, OBIEE, Spotfire, SQL etc.)
Experience in preparing presentations for internal and external communication
Experience in portfolio analysis and/or financial reporting.
Excellent work ethic and extremely detail oriented with high energy level, motivation, and enthusiasm

Desired Characteristics
MBA or CAS experience
Proficient in SQL, Business Objects and reporting and analytic tools such as Spotfire.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, presentation and communication skills
Previous global role with experience in dealing across multiple businesses and exposure to multiple financial products
Strong leadership experience
Ability to think strategically, drive simplification and automation to create efficiency.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
