The Medical Education Coordinator works closely with the Directors of the Pulmonary, GI and Sleep Fellowships and is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of these programs. This position requires high-level abilities in independent decision-making, communication and organizational management skills. Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Medical Education & Research, the Medical Education Coordinator :
Pro-actively ensures that program directors, faculty and trainees comply with training, rules, regulations and expectations within the guidelines of the respective Fellowships
Demonstrates and retains knowledge of ACGME institutional and internal medicine regulations and any changes thereto
Maintains accurate and complete Fellowship files and ACGME-related documentation
Administers the evaluative process, including New Innovations or similar programs
Tracks expenses and maintains budget within set budgetary limits
Ensures program reporting to GME office including dashboards, violation reports, remediation issues, contracts and PLAs, and annual reports
Effectively organizes educational activities including, orientation, conferences, in-service testing, and simulation activities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
3-5 years experience in graduate medical education
Excellent verbal communication skills in-person, and via phone and other social media
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with attending physicians and direct medical trainees to achieve compliance with training and ACGME rules and expectationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
