General Summary
Technical Writer Responsibilities
Implement all aspects of Optiva related activities, Product specifications systems and documentations supporting the R&D commercialization process. Includes end user support when required and participation in PLM/Optiva information sessions and power user meetings.
Meeting Coordinator Responsibilities
Plans and executes Top to Top and corporate product cuttings/demonstrations for the PF R&D department. Utilizes Food Presentation skills to ensure a high quality look that meets the Pepperidge Farm standards.
Technician Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Program Manager/ Technologists, conducts bench top trials and assists with pilot plant trials to create prototypes for review. Assists technologists with other project related activities as necessary.
Culinary Center Responsibilities
Partners with F&FB to ensure a well maintained Culinary Center.
Principal Accountabilities:
Management of documentation supporting the commercialization process (includes Optiva/Temp Notes/MCS) 60%
Coordinates product cuttings and demos for upper management and customer presentations 15%
Technician duties, including creating prototypes in the lab / pilot plant 15%
Maintains Culinary Center 10%
Job Complexity:
Working knowledge of various office and technical systems including: Microsoft Office, Optiva, QLM
Ability to work with cross functional R&D team to understand the impact of formula changes on associated documentation.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with various cross functional groups within the organization when accountabilities require.
Ability to work with R&D and Operations (Plant) personnel in disseminating technical information
Easily adapts to changing priorities
Job Specifications:
Minimum Bachelor Degree, with a Culinary Arts certification and a minimum of two years of experience required.
Good analytical skills, attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
Excels at information collection and documentation
Strong computer skills and the desire and ability to learn new and complex database software systems
Working knowledge of product documentation, ingredient specifications and formulations
Ability to work on multiple projects within a team environment
Working Conditions:
