Job duties include: Perform software pilot project for prospective customers;
Process, validate, and analyze pilot datasets of various formats, cleanliness,
and levels of consistency; Build, tune, and analyze pilot models, and ensure
that they align with specific prospect goals; Work with prospect, sales and
presales management to build the business case; Assist with Sales and Presales
management in presentation pilot results and business case; Build relationship
with prospect and demonstrate the quality of Terra services through working
process; Produce accurate, repeatable pilot results while minimizing prospect
effort wherever possible; Deliver any and all presales activities on-time, with
the highest quality possible; Maintain a working level of knowledge of the
latest Terra product capabilities and features; Communicate effectively and
timely with all Terra management and prospects; Assist in transition of
completed pilot to consulting team; and Keep abreast of category/industry.
Requires a Master''s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, SCM/Logistics, Computer or other
Sciences, plus 3 years of experience, or, in the alternative, a Bachelor''s
degree Engineering, Mathematics, SCM/Logistics, Computer or other Sciences with
at least 5 years of experience. Must have 5 years (3 years of experience if the
applicant possess a Master''s degree) of Supply Chain and/or software
implementation and integration experience. Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL or
stored procedures required. Must have experience working with large data sets,
data modeling and/or data management as well as experience providing presales
support and/or technical solutions implementation. Occasional travel to other
Terra offices and/or client sites. Employer will accept any combination of
education, training, and/or experience.
